OVERVIEW
Level 2 is an international program of Advanced Teacher Training in Kundalini Yoga. Course and tutors are approved by the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers’ Association (IKYTA) and the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI).
It consists of five modules of each six days of practise and meditation.
This deep personal practice, the group process, deep interactive discussions and intense meditations, you will go through a transformation that will help you to deepen your own direct perception of the teachings. It will also serve to improve your ability to create and maintain the Sacred Space of a Teacher.
- This course will help you tap deeper into the wealth of Kundalini Yoga.
- Be part of a community and nourish the inspiration to offer others the chance.
- Strengthen your connection to the Golden Chain.
- Build more sense of community amongst your peers.
- Take the teachings into the world on a deeper level.
Excellence is acknowledging your own divinity and guiding others to realise it within themselves.
COMPLETION CRITERIA
To become a KRI certified Level 2 Practitioner you must complete 300 hours of training which includes:
- 310 hours of classroom instruction in the five Level 2 modules listed above.
- 60 hours of additional requirements to be completed outside of classroom time including a home exam.
In conjunction with your Level One KRI Certification, this 300-hour program qualifies you for the Yoga Alliance 500-hr E-RTY certificate. After completion of each module (min. time: 2 years for all five modules), you are provided with a certification letter. Once you complete all five modules you can request your Level Two certificate from KRI here.
ENTRANCE CRITERIA
In general, applicants are expected to hold a KRI Instructor Certificate in Kundalini Yoga: i.e. Aquarian Teacher Level 1. A copy of this must be submitted with your application.
If you do not yet have a Level 1 KRI certificate you can still take the course. You can apply one Level Two module before you complete the Level 1 course and still have it count towards your Level Two certificate. If you take more than one Level Two module before completing your Level 1 program, you will not receive a letter of completion, and hence they will not “count” towards your eventual Level Two certification.
We also welcome long term KY students or yoga teachers of other disciplines. Please get in contact with us!
